SABAH

Sabah is a Malaysian state that occupies the northern part of the island of Borneo. It is famous for Mount Kinabalu as high as 4,095m, the highest peak in the country, crowned with its own granite tower. Sabah is also famous for its beaches, rainforests, coral reefs and abundant wildlife, mostly in parks and reserves. Offshore, the islands of Sipadan and Mabul are famous as diving destinations.Kota Kinabalu is the capital of Sabah Malaysia in the northern part of the island of Borneo. Often referred to as KK, it is a coastal town partially surrounded by rainforest. It is famous for its bustling markets, modern sidewalks, beaches and the Kota Kinabalu City Mosque by the sea. It is also the gateway to Kinabalu National Park, home to Mount Kinabalu as high as 4,095m.
